Laurie was born and raised in the rolling verdant landscapes of the Green Mountains of Vermont, where she discovered her life-long passion for animals and creating art, with lions and the big cats as her main subjects. [nbsp]She attended Parsons School of Design in New York City and discovered horseback riding in Central Park; it was here her love of horses began. She then moved to the northern foothills of Colorado where for many years now, she owns a small farm and lives with her Morgan horses, who are her inspirations and best friends.
