With her experience in the fields of animation, motion pictures, television, and theatre her journey as an artist finally led her to collages, paintings, and illustrations. In the form of illustrations for newspapers Shelley Davies published her works in numerous magazines. Her works show strong colours and have, because of her use of multidimensional blocks, a certain kind of plasticity. This way she layers rhythmic levels made of collage-like, firmly connected and bright areas of colour. Her passion is the creation of artworks, which are a picture and a three-dimensional object at the same time.
